Yes, he had beautiful songs. Yes, his guitar playing is as good as people say but I’m all about the Napoleonic grandeur crying in the freezing rain feeling so I stuck with that. Now that I’ve been going through Mr. Clapton’s vast catalogue, I’m overcome by his gentle sensitivity and deep intelligence, not to mention the musicianship which is so indicative of discipline and rare talent. I’m totally won over and as always, let’s pray for his comfort and healing. Miracles are possible.
