Dolly and I have a few things in common. We’re both pretty feisty and ambitious and good hearted. Will this be reflected in our combined astrological charts?
The first thing that jumps out is that Dolly is a media revolutionary as we see her Uranus in communicative Gemini. My Uranus and Pluto are in Libra which speaks of an art revolutionary. Anyone around my age will also show this tendency.
Dolly’s unusual fame in the arts is shown by her massive stellium in ambitious, hardworking Capricorn. There we find the Sun (fame), Venus (Beauty), Vesta (devotion), Mercury (communication) and Ceres (nurturing). That lineup is a huge validation of astrology as we can easily see those energies combined in Dolly’s huge fame.
A stellium supposedly emphasises the constellation in which it is found. Guess who also has a stellium in Capricorn involving Venus?
My Capricorn shows Venus, (culture), Black Moon Lilith (Justice), Ceres (Caring).
Juno (serious partnerships, fair rule) and North Node (fate) are also nearby in Sagittarius. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is also greatly emphasised in my chart as it is the focal point of a Yod and a bucket formation.
There we can easily see the ambition that we both clearly share.
Dolly’s Sun is really at the cusp of Capricorn, just in Aquarius. In my chart, this is where I have my fairly prominent Jupiter in the 10th house in Aquarius. I take this to mean that it is my job (10th house) to teach truth (Jupiter) to the public through the internet (Aquarius). There are many other ways to read this combination but that’s the most obvious application given my circumstances. Dolly’s massive fame stellium is shining a big intense light on that. Thank you Dolly!
On top of that, Dolly’s Jupiter/Chiron (expansion, wounds) in Libra is in a challenging square with our Sun/Jupiter alignment in Aquarius. This would bring even more POW to our combined efforts and the deep empathy of Chiron in Libra would give us a lot of common ground. We have both obviously suffered (Chiron) in our relationships (Libra).
On top of that, Dolly’s Jupiter/ Chiron in Libra combination is aligned with my disruptive Uranus in Libra.
My Uranus in Libra is VERY DISRUPTIVE as is it in a difficult opposition with fiery, dangerous, sexy Mars and it is in a square with expansive Jupiter. This just screams that Dolly and I could do a lot together for good as there is a lot of generous Jupiter feeling in evidence.
Everyone knows that Dolly is full of fire so let’s look at her Mars placement. We find it in watery, emotional Cancer in an alignment with ambitious, hardworking but suffering Saturn. Emotion pain most likely drives her fire and she has always admitted this. Guess who also has that miserable Saturn in Cancer?
We both are showing a lot of wounding at the emotional level and that could give us a lot of understanding (Cancer) in the pursuit of our goals (Saturn). It seems we share an ambition to help our nation as Cancer is about concern for our homeland.
A peculiarity of my chart is that my Sun/Mercury (identity, communication) is expressed through partners or enemies as it’s in the Venus ruled 7th house. Dolly is a big communicator so that could hopefully apply to her - as a partner.
In this very space, we just so happen to find an alignment between my Sun/Mercury in sultry, ambitious, secretive Scorpio and Dolly’s Black Moon Lilith (activism, raising hell). My Sun can shine a light on this facet of Dolly’s personality and I do that every chance I get.
What further emphasises that this is meant to be is shown in a square with Dolly’s Pluto in Leo. Pluto is a ruler of Scorpio. Dolly’s whole generation have Pluto in Leo. We see the sexiness (Pluto) and grandeur (Leo) in them. This fantastic energy for great performance comes into my Sun/Mercury in a challenging way. As we all know, ridiculous walls have been put up by sneaky people (Pluto and Scorpio can represent snakes in the grass). It won’t be easy but it looks like Dolly could still give me tips on how she does what she does so well.
Not only does Dolly have Jupiter/Chiron in Libra but she also has Neptune (spirit) aligned with my Pluto (pain, passion). As we have discussed, Pluto is an underground, spooky but spiritual feeling. Combining Dolly’s Neptune with my Pluto could only mean a lot of spiritual potency in the fields of relationships and culture (Libra).
This synastry chart shows not 1 but 2 t squares. It is funny that Dolly plays “Big T” in her film Wild Texas Wind and I am the T who cannot be named the the crooks running the establishment.
This challenge is something that can spurn both of us to greater achievement. One of the t squares between us involves my Chiron/Mars (lots of pain, healing) in Aries (war, drive) and our combination of Uranus (revolution), Jupiter/Chiron (great pain and healing) in Libra (relationships culture).
The outlet for all of this pain could be our Sun/Mercury, Black Moon Lilith alignment in Scorpio. We could shine a light (Sun) on secrets (Scorpio) in media (Mercury) and we could achieve justice through activism (Black Moon Lilith).
Our other t square involves involves the same planets of the previous opposition mentioned just before, Mars/Chiron in Aries and our Uranus, Jupiter/Chiron in Libra. Except in this instance both of these hyper combustive energies are square Dolly’s Saturn/Mars in emotional, sensitive Cancer. This can mean that we have lot of pent up fuel (Mars, Jupiter, Uranus) that can express itself through hard word and action (Mars/Saturn). That we can use our emotions (Cancer) to bring these efforts forward is perfectly clear.
Yet again, we see an accurate reflection of our story in these charts. WE can do so much GOOD when we pool our efforts!
