Matt was 1 of the Tuckahoe kids at my high school - like Sue - who seemed like a nice and smart bunch.
Matt always appeared tortured and he wouldn’t talk to me all that much but he seemed to like me and he would quixotically wear a t shirt that read “it’s a black thing, you wouldn’t understand”.
He was very fair skinned.
Looking back I’m realizing a lot of these strange behavior were tipoffs for later.
