More bootlegs from EC’s fascinating residency in NYC

There is a story being told here despite the many restraints that have been placed against his right to free speech.

I know I’ve been getting hints about a past life in the South we may have shared for quite some time. It didn’t end well as you can imagine. Could this have been EC/Napoleon? I can recognize this personality and his complicated tendencies. I wouldn’t rule it out. We seem to always have lots of problems and drama. Hopefully this time we’ll do some good and we won’t destroy each other. I do remember some things from past lives but he seems to remember a lot more than I do. We’re going to have to work it out, whatever is going on.

It’s crazy we have to keep dealing with the same villains over and over. There is a parasitical presence on this planet that will not just let us live. It seems every lifetime, we are even more trapped and constrained. It’s probably because we remember past lives that we’re not as scared as our enemies would like us to be. What a mystery.

I have to say the irony here is that our enemies might have had more luck getting rid of us had they let us be together given our past but I guess they felt they couldn’t risk it. I did explain at length that our combined energy is extremely volatile and dangerous and if it isn’t channeled well, we’re in big trouble. But if we play our cards right, we really do have the power to improve the world, if we are supported.

Complicated Shadows

Well you know your time has come and you're sorry for what you've done
You should've never have been playing with a gun
In those complicated shadows
Well there's a line that you must toe
And it'll soon be time to go
But it's darker than you know in those complicated shadows

All you gangsters and rude clowns
Who were shooting up the town
When you should have found someone to put the blame on
Though the fury's hot and hard
I still see that cold graveyard
There's a solitary stone that's got your name on

You don't have to take it from me
But I know what I spake
You think you're like iron and steel
But iron and steel will bend and break
In those complicated shadows
Go!

Sometimes justice you will find
Is just dumb not colour-blind
And your poor shattered mind can't take it all in
All those phantoms and those shades
Should jump up on Judgement Day
And say to the Almighty "I'm still stinking of sin"

But the jury was dismissed
Took his neck and they give it a twist
So you see you won't be missed in those complicated shadows
You can say just what you like in a voice like a John Ford film
Take the law into your hands
You will soon get tired of killing
In those Complicated Shadows
Complicated Shadows
Complicated Shadows
Complicated Shadows
Go!
