Astrology Report: Look out for loving and steamy Pluto trine Venus

The following is shared from cafeastrology.com

Tuesday, JUNE 21

Venus forms a trine to Pluto early today, and we can feel quite pleasantly passionate and focused on a person, situation, connection, or project.

Also today, the Sun moves into Cancer, marking the solstice. Until July 22nd, we are self-protective and insular. Our attention turns to our nests–our families, homes, base of operations, and anything that makes us feel safe and secure. Nurturing and caring for loved ones and pet projects become a sharper focus. We’re more invested in our personal lives in the month ahead.

The Moon spends the day in Aries, aligning with Jupiter, and our moods lift. It’s a time to attend to–and embrace–our needs for self-direction, self-expression, and initiative.

SUN ENTERS CANCER

Sun is in Cancer from June 21-July 22, 2022.

Emotions run deep, and we easily tune in to the world of feelings. Note that we are more in tune with the Moon while the Sun is in Cancer.

We may not want to grow up and face responsibilities or the outside world during the Sun-in-Cancer cycle. We should watch for dependence when we’d do better for ourselves otherwise. However, it’s a robust transit for recognizing our needs for comfort, safety, and familiarity. We’re inclined to form strong bonds and protect our loved ones.

The symbols are described at astro.com

On tonight’s stream, I’d like to take a closer look at George Ivan “Van” Morrison’s natal placement of Venus in his astrological chart. I’ll list what I can find about this below and we’ll examine any patterns that we can find.

Venus in the 3rd House is a position that represents cooperation and communication with other people. It favors travel for recreational purposes, especially visits to relatives or for a honeymoon.

Venus here gives an interest in the decorative arts, in clothing and jewelry, as well as interest in dancing and singing.

Since your Venus placement is pivotal to your personality, it is also important that you know the house that it’s in. Your 3rd House of communication, siblings, short trips and receiving messages shows a lot about the way you express yourself and how you hold love and affection.

The influence of Venus here can be attributed to a loving and compassionate disposition, coupled with a desire to serve the greater good. Since 3rd House governs siblings, Venus here can create a strong bond with them.

It does not make you superficial, but this planet situated here gives you great social skills. The aspect of Venus is likely to draw many admirers and friends, especially women, who love and appreciate your complimenting them with your kind words.

You are charming and a good debate partner for any discussion. Your logical thinking gets an additional drive from the higher intuition on this position. The energies of Venus and Jupiter tend to make you rather popular for what you say and how you look.

If you have Venus in the 3rd house, you are successful in every area of your life. You are very beautiful, intelligent and have a charming personality.

You have an innate sense as to how other people feel; therefore you are very good at your job. You have excellent communication skills, which make you a great writer and orator. Creative expression comes easily to you.

You just like seeing others happy and doing things for them. Beware of fussing over them too much.

Meaning in Synastry

Venus in 3rd House synastry indicates that two individuals are able to maintain a healthy relationship where they can openly communicate with one another about the specifics of their relationship.

They feel comfortable and willing to talk about where they see the relationship going in their future.

This synastry aspect describes a relationship that is built on equal exchange and where there is a sense of harmony.

In this case, the couple show qualities of trust and friendliness and are able to work together towards common goals without feeling smothered by each other.

Venus in the 3rd House partners may start a business together or have done so in the past. They make an excellent team because they are both capable of working for the longer term gain versus short term gain or luxury items only.

This placement indicates you may have a talent for relating to other people, but this time it is on an intimate level.

Venus here encourages you to be your charming self when with someone that is not an ordinary acquaintance, and even encourages flirtation.

In its various house placements, Venus indicates how we either love to or hate to spend money. Placed in the 3rd House of communication, group activities and education, this placement reflects a fun-loving, free-spending habit with their cash.

They may also have a history of multiple financial problems and may show inclinations towards hyperemotional spending.

. . .

Venus sextile Neptune natal makes you a passionate, romantic and sensual person. You are most likely very good-looking, charming, and engaging, a pleasure to be around. Your amorous allure makes you socially popular and you would enjoy having many friends or being involved with groups of like-minded people.

Relationships are a part of your well-being, especially those of an intimate nature. Your partner would ideally be as affectionate, loving, tender, and easy on the eyes as you are. A spiritual or soul union is just as important to you as an erotic imagination in the bedroom.

This aspect gives artistic and other creative talents. You may develop your own particular or uncommon style when it comes to dance, music or art. Your home and other surroundings must be beautiful and harmonious, and you most likely have a talent for decorating. Beautifying yourself is also important and you should have a good fashion sense and love jewelry, cosmetics or tattoos.

Having a glamorous or at least very attractive appearance is healthy for your self-esteem. Likewise, you place great value on having a nice home with some of life’s little luxuries. Generally, you dislike anything threatening or unpleasant and prefer peaceful surroundings and nice people.

Your selfless and compassionate nature makes you a valued asset in any group or organization with the goal of helping those in need. You are especially sensitive to those things which harm other people or any living thing. Wars, disasters, famine, and cruelty would be very upsetting to witness, even on the TV.

You can be a visionary and very intuitive if not psychic. This is related to your sensitivity and idealism. Sharing any insights you gain through visions or dreams is a practical and important way to improve the world around you.

Perhaps one downside to this aspect would be fanciful or unrealistic expectations of other people. But in general, your kindness will not be seen as a weakness and you should enjoy the love and acceptance of others. Your empathy and unselfish nature will be rewarded by having a harmonious and pleasant lifestyle.

. . .

Venus Square Chiron natal

Those with Venus sextiles Chiron in their natal chart may have some wounds to carry in terms of their love life. It may be that in this life for the past life, they have been wounded or abandoned and this will show up through that love life and how they are treated by others.

. . .

Venus sextile Jupiter natal makes you a warm, generous and loving person. This is one of the best aspects because it brings popularity, good fortune, and true love. Good looks are one of your many blessings but you are also nice on the inside. Despite what you may read elsewhere, you are impassioned about being the best you can be and making the most of your gifts and are certainly not lazy.

Relationships are most important to you because of your need for companionship and romance. You may enjoy flirting but can also be secretive about your love life. Marriage may well be important and you would expect the same loyalty and devotion that you give. While this aspect suggests tenderness, affection, and caring, you are also extremely passionate and sexual, even lewd sometimes.

Being so cheerful and charming, your social life will also be an important part of your life. Your positive, broad, and optimistic outlook on life are uplifting for other people. You are fun to be around and should enjoy popularity, even fame is a possibility with this aspect. You would certainly enjoy the associated wealth and luxury. Even if you live a humble existence, your fashion sense and love of beauty will manifest in your appearance and your home.

You can also be forgiving and very generous so charity work would appeal to you. You love immersing yourself in culture and would love traveling to exotic places. There is a deeper side to your seemingly fun-loving nature, with interest in education, philosophy, psychology (especially as it relates to relationships), literature or law.

You should have a good sense of rhythm with a talent for music and acting. All the arts and creative fields would offer a good career. I noticed many singers on the list of famous people with this aspect listed below. The only downsides I can see to this aspect would be related to overindulgence. This may affect the diet, especially with sugar, but problems may also arise with addictions that could get out of control and be self-destructive. You love to party but may need to show some restraint or moderation during less pleasant times of your life. Generally, however, your life should be balanced and happy, just like your personality.

Above can be seen the synastry between myself and George Ivan. Let’s look into this:

. . .

The following is shared from here:

Venus is the planet of love and romance. It is the natural ruler of the 2nd house of material possessions, as well as the 7th house of one-on-one partnerships.

Harmonious aspects (i.e. the conjunction, trine, and sextile) between Venuses in Synastry are indicative of overall compatibility between the couple. The ways you express affection and demonstrate your love are similar. You do not easily offend one another, and have an appreciation for one another’s style of dress, social graces, as well as financial values. You enjoy spending time with each other, due to the fact that you feel comfortable and at ease in each other’s presence. You enjoy going out and socializing together, and may share mutual friends. You understand each other’s moods, and have a calming effect on each other. This is an indicator that you two cooperate with each other easily, which goes a long way in terms of long-term compatibility.

 (Not me writing)

A note about the conjunction: I had this aspect with a long-term boyfriend, and it was one of the best relationships I’ve ever had. We instinctively knew how to treat one another, and we reveled at how similar we were to one another. It was the most comfortable relationship I’ve ever had, due to the fact that he felt so “familiar” to me. We needed the same things from relationships, so it was easy to satisfy one another. I know several other relationships with Venus conjunct Venus, and they have been very long-lasting. In addition, it is said that strong Venus-Venus aspects can “replace” absent Sun-Venus aspects.

The hard aspects (square, opposition, quincunx) are much more tricky to deal with. In this case, your styles of expressing love and affection are at odds with one another. In the case of the square and opposition, your Venus signs share the same modality, but there is a marked difference in your relationship expectations. The quincunx energy feels like a “misfire”; you don’t feel very connected to one another. Either way, it is easy to offend on another when your Venus is in an unfavorable aspect to your partner’s Venus. In addition, your taste in clothes, the way you socialize, the way you handle money, the kinds of friends you have, and your interests are very different.

. . .

The site from where I am sharing the following can be found at the link in red below:

Venus Square Chiron Synastry

While the opposition aspect indicates that Chiron sees the shadow self, the Venus square Chiron synastry aspect is more of a conflict or difference in viewpoint (instead of the opposite).

Sometimes, this means that the way the Venus person loves is simply not what the Chiron person needs to feel secure and to heal. This is very painful for the Chiron person because Venus repeatedly triggers the square by not loving them in the way they need. Venus may make Chiron feel more insecure because they just can’t understand where Venus is coming from.

The Venus square Chiron synastry aspect can also mean that Chiron is triggered by the way Venus spends/earns money, the way they look, or any of the Venusian qualities that they present. Something about Venus makes Chiron feel insecure. Chiron may feel that no matter how hard they try, they can’t seem to calm down their feelings of inadequacy.

In a friendship or familial relationship, Venus square Chiron can have another meaning. Sometimes, this aspect indicates that the Venus person is attracted to or dates people who trigger the Chiron individual. In this case, the Venus person’s method of love triggers Chiron indirectly, through their partners.

This aspect is generally about Venus triggering all sorts of inadequacy in the Chiron person. The energy of this relationship can be very disconnected because these two just cannot understand each other. Typically, Chiron does not know how to explain these triggers to Venus (not that Venus would necessarily understand) so the matter remains conflicted.

If both people are willing, the Venus square Chiron synastry aspect can be resolved, but it takes a lot of communication. This aspect isn’t necessarily bad but simply indicates that these two relational styles don’t match up.

Sometimes, both partners will stay together because Chiron feels the need to prove that they are good enough, despite the constant pain they endure by being around Venus. Other times, Chiron feels the need to disconnect or flee.

It’s very important that both partners are willing to dig deep into their emotional psyches and willing to learn how to explain their emotions in a way that the other can understand for this relationship to last.

. . .

Challenging aspects: Venus square or opposition other person’s Jupiter

Venus feels romantically inspired by Jupiter, feeling more sexually confident and attractive in their presence, which is a wonderful feeling! There is something wonderfully promising about this relationship. Still, there is an enabling quality to this connection–making one another happy without the discipline to give one another what they need, not just what they want.

*Your nature is generous and giving, but budgeting your resources is not your strong suit. The desire for instant gratification crops up regularly and you will need to deal with it effectively. Some things are worth waiting for, believe it or not! You have a tendency to risk with high stakes or expectations and your disappointments can be large. Learning to do the research and curb impetuousness will save you grief. If you exaggerate or make false claims, you’re likely to gain a bad reputation. Your negative issues arise mostly from overdoing or overspending in one way or another. In spite of it all, you manage to laugh about your escapades and also find some wisdom.

Essentially positive, expansive, generous and joyful, this aspect between your charts generates its share of exaggeration and excess if not handled carefully. This is the classic, “too much of a good thing”. The truth could be stretched or unnecessary risks taken with your resources or your affections. Guard against taking too much for granted, or you may easily lose something valuable to you Be careful of having too high expectations or promising more than you can truly give. Be aware of boasting and showing off, since it is likely to bring you the opposite of what you desire. The impulse is for betterment and supporting positive influences in your lives together but the compulsion in this aspect may be to get it all at once or immediately. Take the time to discern the experiences and influences that really matter to you and look at the long term, at least part of the time. The intent of the aspect is to make you aware of where you tend to be excessive and the consequences of that. There will always be a tendency to push the envelope a bit and it’s up to the two of you to decide when that’s in your best interest or not. A sport of some kind would be good outlet for your restless energies.

Houses and indicators dependent on birth time may be inaccurate as I don’t have a verified birth time for Koand.

My synastry chart with Koand is above. Chiron is about healing and wounds. What is so bizarre is that Koand and I have hurt each other quite a bit without having even met each other. I have healed a lot already from this interaction - such as it is - I must say. He does help me see what I have difficulty seeing on my own.

. . .

Some more thoughts on Venus and Chiron in synastry:

Venus/Chiron is a strange combination. The planet of self-worth and desire, the planet of beauty and balance, the planet of ownership and value, meets the Asteroid King of the Have-nots. Venus/Chiron appreciates the exquisite beauty inherent in human suffering. It is not a love of suffering itself, but of humanity’s ability to transcend it. If we cry when we hear a piece of music, that is Chiron/Venus at work. Many musicians and singers have Venus/Chiron aspects, and their work has a haunting quality. Judy Garland, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen have the square. David Helfgott, the Australian classical pianist who was both crucified by and healed through his music, has a Moon/Venus/Mars conjunction opposite Chiron. Jacques Brel, whose songs were all about the suffering inherent in life, had the conjunction. In Brel’s work, the soul searches for a respite in love, which is ever-elusive. His work celebrates both human bravery and human folly in the face of that endless hunger.

Houses and indicators dependent on birth time may be inaccurate as I don’t have a birth time.

You can add Koand to the list of musicians who show deep suffering in their music and who also have a pronounced expression of Venus/Chiron in their natal charts.

Hortense Bonaparte - an artist who suffered continually - shows an exact alignment between Chiron and Venus. She was tortured by her love for her stepfather Napoleon and she had to hide her feelings about this. Her story is here.

Look at the afflicted Venus in my chart and consider the situation I am in.
