Paul McCartney - Once Upon A Long Ago

Like some others, I’m on a journey that I don’t really understand and I’m getting a lot of spooky clues about spiritual realities from people who are banned from acknowledging my existence.

Who orchestrated this betrayal and could it have something to do with the group who keeps playing all these games with lies and masks? Could it have to do with the enemy within who launched 911? Another highly funded project that escalated a fascism that was always lurking . . . Of course we know the answer by now. They want to put masks on us and I want to take theirs OFF. It’s up to you who will prevail.

. . .

The following song, Once Upon A Long Ago is mentioned not only in Paul McCartney’s recent publication The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present but also in his new box set The 7” Singles Box. Since the video for Once Upon A Long Ago is referenced in The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present, it may be interesting for us to watch it.

Once Upon A Long Ago lyrics

Paul McCartney

Picking up scales and broken chords
Puppy dog tails in the House of Lords
Tell me darling, what can it mean

Making up moons in a minor key
What have those tunes got to do with me
Tell me darling, where have you been

Once upon a long ago
Children searched for treasures
Nature's plan went hand in hand with pleasure
Such pleasure

Blowing balloons on a windy day
Desolate dunes with a lot to say
Tell me darling, what have you seen

Once upon a long ago
Children searched for treasures
Nature's plan went hand in hand with pleasure
My pleasure

Playing guitars on an empty stage
Counting the bars of an iron cage
Tell me darling, what can it mean
Picking up scales and broken chords
Puppy dog tails in the House of Lords
Help me darling, what does it mean
Once upon a long ago
