The book Run Rose Run centers around, AnnieLee Keyes, a terrified abuse victim who was literally sold like an object. Run Rose Run has a lot of eery details that remind me of very particular instances about my life, way too many to be a coincidence. Things that truly only I would know about myself. Clearly someone is sending me a message.
It turns out in the book that AnnieLee expects nothing but mistreatment because that was the bulk of what she always received. As she couldn’t trust, she couldn’t believe that a superstar like Ruthanna would really care enough to help her.
This angelic superstar however lost a daughter to suicide due to a sleeping pill overdose. What provoked this unfortunate girl to perhaps suicide was a situation to which I frequently allude here: This daughter seems to have ended her life because the music managers of her love decided that he could not have a relationship with her.
There are many allusions to music business organized crime type situations and how musicians become trapped by the finagling of their management teams who reap the wealth while their clients struggle to make ends meet.
This book gives fantastic insight into the mechanics of songwriting and it is a real page turner. An added bonus is that many self defense tips have been woven into the story. Pepper spray and pocket knives are recommended.
I am so glad that this book is corroborating that people in the entertainment business really are being pressured by dangerous forces and getting ripped off so frequently to endure being pressured into sham relationships AKA “showbiz marriages”.
Those of us in the general public would have a lot of trouble believing that “celebrities” are not free to choose their partners with all of the brainwashing targeted at us about the wonderful world of “celebrity” and their supposed immense wealth.
Run Rose Run also makes reference to fake stories that management teams erect around musical talents. The truth is irrelevant in these stories. Apparently these stories are pinned on talents and there isn’t a whole lot they can do to clear their reputations as they are not free to communicate openly at all.
I picked up on the fakeness in media a long time ago and I ended up becoming extremely distrustful towards anyone in the public eye but now I understand that they are trapped by financial scamming and physical threats just as I am.
Look at what happened to Prince and I don’t even think he revealed all that much. He just went against the “rules”. Someone picked up a phone and an organized crime type message was sent about it. I have every indication there is a bounty on me and I never signed up with them but that’s how it is these days. You’re just supposed to give up rights out of fear of murder without retribution. Living in fear is not living and that’s why I have embarked on a hero’s journey. Our only chance is uniting and applying the knowledge that what benefits others, really benefits us as well.
What we all have in common is that we should be doing our best to get free from an extremely predatory system. I am SO GRATEFUL for every effort that has been made so we can finally UNDERSTAND each other better. A theme that runs throughout Run Rose Run is that honesty really is the best policy and that we need to deal with the past or else we cannot grow and move on.
