Let’s take a look at Josh Groban’s natal chart

We all know that Josh Groban has a supernatural talent and that he is funny and charming. Will this chart show his uniqueness? Let’s find out.

Over and over we’ve been seeing strong connections between Venus (beauty) and Neptune (spirit) in the chart of musicians. Once again that pattern is validated in Josh’s chart. His Venus is at the beginning of Neptune ruled Pisces. That he is famous for his spirit can be seen in that his Sun is also in Pisces. He is known for inspirational music.

His fire and passion for spiritual matters can be deduced by his Mars in Pisces. Mars in such a watery spot can dampen a person’s direct expression of anger and force but I think it merely ends up coming out in a more indirect way. The most obvious expression of Mars in Pisces would be through spiritual warfare. This is something we really should value right now.

(This video below touches me and it reminds me of the cruelty of my captivity. I try not to think about it. I have done nothing but try to help people and I appreciate this video SO MUCH although it does make me cry every time I watch it.)

What further validates Josh’s natural tendencies towards spiritual warfare can be perceived in his challenging square between his Sun/Mars (fame, power) in Pisces (spirit) and his Moon/Neptune (FEELINGS!) in Aries (action, war). This is about as obvious as it gets. This is the chart of a spiritual warrior.

The spiritual warrior who operates within the realm of culture and communication is amazingly further validated by the harmonious sextile that we see between (Moon/Neptune) in Aries and Mercury (communication) in Aquarius (technology, humor, the masses) and Venus (culture) at the beginning of mystical, enchanting Pisces.

We once again see the priority of culture in Josh’s life in that he has Jupiter (expansion, truth, knowledge), Saturn (work, discipline, bondage) and Pluto (sex, transformation) in artistic Venus ruled Libra. What this can say is that perhaps Josh is in bondage (Saturn) in some way regarding his art but that he has the benevolence and knowledge (Jupiter) to transform (Pluto) that culture (Libra).

What further suggests it may be in his deep feelings to transform culture can be seen in the harmonious sextile between Josh’s Moon/Neptune in Aries and his Pluto in Libra.

We once again see the culture revolutionary between the challenging square of Josh’s Uranus (humor, surprises, revolution) in Sagittarius (adventure, travel, truth, knowledge, expansion) and his Venus (art, culture, relations, money) in Pisces (telepathy, dreams, magic).

This Uranus in Sagittarius is also in a difficult square with Josh’s Mercury in Aquarius (communicating to the public in a philanthropic manner). These aspects can mean that Josh feels very compelled to make necessary changes (Uranus) in the interest of furthering benevolence and knowledge (Sagittarius) and that - though challenging - he has musical, spiritual and artistic (Venus in Pisces) gifts as well as access to teaching and reaching the public (Mercury in Aquarius).

Problems are what really drive us and even that is noted here. We see that Josh’s Chiron (wounds, healing) is aligned with Pallas Athena (creative just warfare) in warm, sensual, beautiful Taurus which is ruled by Venus. We once again see the creative warrior here that specifically works in communicating with the public. We see this is in the challenging square between Chiron/Pallas Athena in Taurus and Mercury in Aquarius.

Josh’s chart seems very focused on his fame as there are so many aspects to his Sun in Pisces. This chart points repeatedly to a spiritual warrior (Sun/Mars in Pisces) with the ability (Saturn in Libra) and will (Pluto in Libra) to transform culture for the better (Jupiter in Libra) - a work well underway. Josh has a remarkable talent that really does raise us up.
