Paul Simon - Wristband

I really appreciate Paul Simon bringing some light to the extreme wristband situation going on. The little bit of wristband I could ever get seemed to have something to do with organized crime which is why I felt I absolutely had to revolt if I had any hope of hanging onto my soul. I didn’t see much hope of an earthly future.

Unlike many others, it seemed I had nothing to lose. It’s been messy but I saw no way out of escaping the freight train that had clearly been coming since 9/11/2001. They didn’t even really pretend from then on about the fascism problem in the U.S. for anyone paying attention.

They wouldn’t let me in the galleries, so I put my art on the streets. They won’t let me have a just legal system, so I do my trials against the really dangerous criminals here. I knew they’d come after me with their full might but at least anyone with a heart and a brain can see what’s going on. I do so appreciate the sympathy that comes my way and it certainly does come - if my perceptions are correct - from legendary Paul Simon. I treasure him.

When one class is deliberately set up to hate another class, it is a clear indication the crime empire has little use in the long term for either side in that trumped up class war. This dynamic has been set up in various countries already, like in Rwanda. I could see they thought it was our turn for a bloody civil war which is why I wouldn’t let them force and pressure me into that fake populist movement called Q.

Anyone following my story has seen the radical amount of freak out that has been directed at me since I wouldn’t just take their money and do whatever they want. I couldn’t do it because it was wrong and they were just setting me up - just like they are setting up many, many others. I have been trying to help people see this.

Wristband lyrics

Paul Simon

I stepped outside the backstage door to breathe some nicotine
And maybe check my mailbox, see if I can read the screen
Then I heard a click, the stage door lock
I knew just what that meant
I'm gonna have to walk around the block if I wanna get it in

Wristband, my man, you've got to have a wristband
If you don't have a wristband, my man, you don't get through the door
Wristband, my man, you've got to have a wristband
And if you don't have a wristband, my man, you don't get through the door

I can explain it, I don't know why my heart beats like a fist
When I meet some dude with an attitude saying, "Hey, you can't do that, or this"
And the man was large, a well-dressed six-foot-eight
And he's acting like Saint Peter standing guard at the pearly-

Wristband, my man, you've got to have a wristband
If you don't have a wristband, you don't get through the door
And I said, "Wristband? I don't need a wristband
My axe is on the bandstand, my band is on the floor"

I mean it's just
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband

The riots started slowly with the homeless and the lowly
Then they spread into the heartland towns that never get a wristband
Kids that can't afford the cool brand whose anger is a short-hand
For you'll never get a wristband and if you don't have a wristband
Then you can't get through the door

No, you can't get through the door (wristband)
No, you can't get through the door (wristband)
Say you can't get through the door, no
Wristband
Wristband
Wristband
