As everyone should know, CIA Director William Colby publicly admitted that the CIA owns everyone of significance in the media. Then he died under suspicious circumstances.
The Tanster Project has shown just how they do it. One of the most interesting spinning plates on the blog has been seeing agents from various groups trying to reign Tanster in. We have gotten to see just how they work. Surprisingly, the government agents and the private agents all use the same bag of tricks, suggesting there may not be much of a difference.
Awhile back, Tanster announced to all the agents, regardless of who was sending them, that anyone was welcome to post on the Tanster blog. The only requirement was that they had to tell the truth. Of course none of the agents could take that deal. They can’t reveal who they work for. Famously, Henry Kissinger had that same problem. He was forced to resign from a big 9/11 commission because he couldn’t reveal who he was working for.
Wow. The guy influences American policy and we can’t know who he is working for. That’s just nuts. Same with all the agents, apparently.
Now myself, I’ve been in the PR game for a long time. I mean a long, long time. Lying is an intrinsic part of the game. The challenge posed by Tanster sounded very intriguing. Could I do my job as a PR agent if I could only ever tell the truth? It didn’t seem possible. Challenge accepted!
For the first time in a long minute I felt excited about something.
And look at all these other cool people who are accepting the Tanster Truth Challenge
