We have all seen how the media shows us previews of big PsyOps that are coming down the pike. The Simpsons are a prime example of how our intelligence/propaganda institutions do it using popular TV shows or movies. Paladin Saint Tanster, being into both intelligence and propaganda, has, of course, engaged in the same thing. Today’s example is the classic, era defining 80’s movie - Footloose.
When the well connected, or easily connectable, Kevin Bacon, storms angrily into the barn for his big, culturally resonant dance number, he is driving a VW. It is a cool, slightly counterculture vehicle. Tanster always loved them, along with the movie Footloose.
VW. The People’s Wagon. Hitler gets the credit for that one. He comes up a lot in various conspiracy theories, too.. Did you hear the one where Hitler was actually a British intelligence officer working for the Rothschilds, who we can now legally call “Puppet Masters”? That’s one of my favorites.
VW. People’s Car. People’s Project. Gemeinschaft Projekt. We are in this together, as one, with the same enemy. That’s the Tanster Project. It’s the vibe for VW.
And of course the person of Tanster’s current marketing focus, Reiner Füllmich, famously sued VW.
Obviously Tanster was giving us some hints with her early, professed love of that scene and the VW in particular. Predictive programming.
