Fired nurses for not get vaccine are appealing their lawsuit's dismissal

Over 150 nurses were fired or resigned over Houston Methodist Hospital’s requirement that they get a COVID vaccine. Their lawsuit was dismissed by a lower court in Texas but the group of nurses have appealed the decision and plan to take the matter to the Supreme Court, if necessary. Their primary objection is that all of the vaccines currently available have not been through the standard testing procedures. The FDA has only approve them on an emergency basis. The nurses would rather take their changes than use an insufficiently tested medication. Their employer is denying them that right, requiring them to take a potentially unsafe medication in order to keep their jobs.
