This is made of containers that once held grapefruit. I’m always trying to figure out how to turn “garbage” into “legos”. I look for easily drillable materials that I can thread together with cable ties. When I make these crochet granny squares, I use a rainbow yarn that changes somehow. So I would make granny squares of every color. It turns out I ended up with a lot of avocado green, orange and the colors on this block left over. Not sure why.
