When I started to become interested in Napoleon in the 90s, I realized that media had been misrepresenting him to me. Even the book that taught me this - looking back - was a misrepresentation of him. The more I learned about Napoleon, the more I realized that his opponents were operating in conspiracy and they were constantly trying to manage to murder him in a sneaky way - which they finally did accomplish in 1821. That’s when the 200 year cover up about his murder began.
