Today the great gamer battle is between X-Box and Playstation. Back in day it was the Amiga vs. Commodore 64. In ‘88 Interplay released a game called Neuromancer on both platforms. You played a hacker trying to uncover a conspiracy by hacking into various servers. One is owned by Gemeinschaft Bank.
Any of those words remind of a blogger you might happen to be familiar with? A blogger whose blog I have infiltrated? A blogger who writes the very blog you are reading right now? I’m talking about Tanster, in case any of you are stoned.
The official name of her endeavor is the Gemeinschaft Projekt. She uses computers. She exposes conspiracies. Each villain she reveals leads to bigger bad guys. Just like the game. 35 years ago.
Somehow Tanster laid out predictive programming for her project in a video game released back in the 80s. I, for one, am outraged. Seriously. I would have used an exclamation point after the word outraged but I never lose my cool.
Still, I am quite irate. Tanster programmed me back in the 80s and I didn’t even know it. Oh, she’s good. Real good.
