The dog, a one year old female Pomeranian named Darling aka Fifi the Destroy loves to play all kinds of games. She plays Base, where a player has to get back to base without being tagged. She loves that game. Chase, of course. She’s happy to lead or follow in the pursuit. Retrieve she loves, though she prefers Toss and then Chase.
But now she’s done something I’ve never seen done with food by a dog. She brings me a piece of dried food. Drops it at my feet. Then backs up and waits for me to throw it. She’s gleeful.
I throw it. She chases it and catches it and pretends to kill it. Then she brings it back and drops it at my feet again. The same pellet. She’s playing with her food. I’ve never heard of a dog doing that.

Le chien, une Poméranienne d'un an nommée Darling aka Fifi the Destroy aime jouer à toutes sortes de jeux. Elle joue à Base, où un joueur doit retourner à la base sans être tagué. Elle aime ce jeu. Chase, bien sûr. Elle est heureuse de diriger ou de suivre la poursuite. Récupérez qu'elle aime, même si elle préfère Toss puis Chase.
Mais maintenant, elle a fait quelque chose que je n'ai jamais vu faire avec de la nourriture par un chien. Elle m'apporte un morceau de nourriture séchée. Je le laisse tomber à mes pieds. Puis recule et attend que je le jette. Elle est joyeuse.
Je le jette. Elle le poursuit et l'attrape et fait semblant de le tuer. Puis elle le ramène et le laisse à nouveau à mes pieds. La même pastille. Elle joue avec sa nourriture. Je n'ai jamais entendu parler d'un chien faisant ça.
