Napoleon was surprisingly gullible when he really wanted to believe something was true.

In all my years of focusing on Napoleon, what has really jumped out at me lately is that though he was suspicious, he was also quite gullible. Both of his wives played him and he was also tricked by innumerable others. This may have been his Achilles heel. He was prone to believing things that he really wanted to be true.

I’ve also realized that Napoleon believed in Astrology. Out of respect for his genius, I have looked into his chart and it turns out that his gullibility in in his chart. It’s the Neptune (illusion) next to Mars (war) at the top of his natal chart.

The letter below shows Napoleon’s credulity and his intense desire to become a father.
