Napoleon’s Venus.

Napoleon was a bit austere but he always surrounded himself in beauty and culture if he could swing it. On St. Helena, Napoleon’s valet Marchand did what he could to cheer up his Idol and Employer. Marchand was of an artistic temperament and he painstakingly made Napoleon’s bedroom as befitting a monarch as he possibly could. Upon entering this room, Napoleon was delighted and said that it would make a sumptuous mistress’ boudoir. Napoleon was also a significant figure in the history of jewelry. He bought so much of it probably so he could get away with lavishing it on his Stepdaughter too. Will all this Venus type energy show itself in Napoleon’s natal chart?

Since my chart is looking a bit interesting with its transits, I’d like to point some thing’s out. The planets outside the big circle above are the transiting planets. As they go around they lend their energy to where they transit. At the right arrow, we see Mercury and the Sun transiting the same natal planets right now in my house of partnership, the 7th. If Astrology is real that would be a super infusion of Leo important energy with fluttery communication energy. This is happening in the realm of Pluto, Scorpio. Pluto is about upheaval and regeneration. I’m constantly realizing how very Pluto this work is that we’re doing. The arrow on the left shows the big Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. It’s right in the middle of that yod. Will something happen? Is it happening?

Venus is opposite Pluto. That’s even more Pluto.

So much Pluto and Venus says to me that Napoleon was capable of deep transformative spiritual love. Napoleon was in love with Marie Louise before he met her. That says something about Napoleon’s predilection for infatuation and illusion.

Venus is conjunct Mars and Neptune. Let’s look at Mars and Neptune conjunct first.

Mars conjunct Neptune is a spiritual warrior prone to illusion. This Mars Neptune combination is sextile Venus.

What was very Venus sextile Uranus was the weird way in which Napoleon shoehorned his Stepdaughter into playing third wheel of both his marriages

Venus is at the apex of a kite configuration. What’s a kite configuration?

What I’m understanding about the kite is that the trine of Mars Neptune in Virgo (Mercury), Uranus in Taurus (Venus) and Pluto in Capricorn (Saturn) is giving flowing energy in those areas. Venus in Cancer (Moon) occupies a powerful role in this situation through its opposition to Pluto. Napoleon’s free flowing genius passed through a filter of Venus (love), the Moon (emotion) and Pluto (death/birth/transformation/spirit). Napoleon is highly important to culture, he’s famous for his love letters and he really did transform the world.
