I’m going to share the personal recollections and diary of Napoleon’s 2nd wife, Marie Louise from an old book. I hope you enjoy them.

These are Marie Louise’s words to her father before meeting Napoleon:

“I think of you continually, and I shall always think of you. God has given me the courage to bear this last shock courageously . . . I have made you this sacrifice.”
