Napoleon’s Neptune.

Neptune is the planet which has a dreamy, mystical quality. It paradoxically reveals the truth and obscures it. Neptune can be foggy illusion and it can be the cold hard facts straight from the spirit realm.

A huge story playing out in my project is that I have agents menacing me. They’ve gotten into my accounts, I suppose, because I have been unwilling to take the bait of their innumerable attempts to goad me into fights. I feel this situation is a tremendous validation because would they be after me if I were wrong? I have some strong Neptune placements in my chart. I used to get tricked because I didn’t see the actual malice present in certain people. Today, if I am accurate in my pursuit of truth, it’s because I really am connected to the other side. The things I share with the public are simply what I’ve been told myself. I hope that explains how Neptune can be a truth teller and a truth obscurer. It’s a bit paradoxical.

I’ve been realizing that Neptune energy may have played a tremendous role in the destruction of Napoleon. Hindsight in 20/20. Napoleon was a great student of history. It appears that a certain group was on the rise in the late 1700s who were ruthless to a degree unexampled in European history. I can’t blame Napoleon for not understanding that what he was up against was something more malicious than what had proceeded it. Napoleon believed that the other monarchs in Europe would band with him against the threat posed from the English government because it was in their best interests to do so. Once he realized there was something else entirely going on, it was too late.

My point in saying all this is that Neptune is at the top of a complex series of shapes, next to Napoleon’s Mars in Napoleon’s 10th house of career in an intercepted Virgo. It’s also near the Midheaven. All this would indicate that this Neptune is a huge influence on Napoleon’s personality. He was very spiritual. He was very honest and he was very, very deceived.

Napoleon’s other intercepted house at the opposite end is Pisces, which is ruled by Neptune. An intercepted house is an energy that’s there but a bit inaccessible. Intercepted Pisces is in the 4th house associated with the Moon, home and origins. (My moon is in Pisces.) Chiron is in that house. Chiron is associated with unhealable wounds and sacrifice.

To my understanding, these would be Napoleon’s weak spots. He would find compensation for this in his duplicated houses. Duplicated houses engulf the house next to which we see them. In this case, those houses are Libra (Venus) and Aries (Mars).

What first fascinated me about Napoleon was that he was a writer truly par excellence. When I found that out, I felt I had been deceived by the misleading portrayals of Napoleon that I had seen in tv and movies. That’s how I started to realize even more how I had been deceived by what I was being told by the “culture”. Napoleon was an important cultural figure also in the various ways in which he supported the arts. I’m not surprised to see Libra commanding the 11th house of community service and brilliance.

Aries on the other end is engulfing the 5th house ruled by the Sun. Napoleon is a famous Leo, sun sign. A strong Aries covering the house of fame and Leo makes sense.
