Napoleon’s Uranus.

Uranus was not discovered during the time of Napoleon but I’m going to proceed as if it had been. Napoleon did have a quirky engineer type streak. When he was exiled in Elba, he asked the polytechnic school students to help him do water displacement experiments in his tub. On St. Helena, Napoleon would study and manipulate the behavior of ants. Napoleon was known for advancements like canned food and for implementing the metric system. He was a quirky genius to the full meaning of the term. Napoleon was also highly interested in serving the community. Will we see any of this in the placement of this planet in his chart?

Uranus forms part of a kite pattern. A kite pattern is a lucky pattern characteristic of harmoniously free flowing energy. In the case of this chart, Venus forms an opposition to Pluto in the kite pattern. That is a tense aspect and it is supposed to be difficulty that spurs the native to use these highly accessible energies.

Uranus also forms the edge of a “mystic rectangle” comprised of 2 opposites, 2 sextiles and 2 trines. The easy aspects, the trines and the sextiles are said to be a release point for the two opposites. What does all this mean? To put it simply. In some areas we have it easy and in some areas we are prone to problems. I know that’s true of me. Let’s look a little deeper.

The grand trine is comprised of a Mars Neptune conjunction in an intercepted house Virgo in the 10th house of fame. The intercepted house means that the energies are there but blocked from full access.

Then we have Uranus in the 6th house (Mercury) of daily work in Taurus (Venus). After that, there’s Pluto In Capricorn in the 2nd house (Venus, values). Then we have an opposition between Venus and Pluto (peace and war). Venus is in Cancer (emotions) in the 8th house (spirit, transformation). These energies show someone very talented and lucky but the core driver here is Pluto vs. Venus. War and peace were on a see saw and this seems spelled out here. Uranus is the planet adding the visionary for the community feel to the daily work grind.

In the mystic rectangle we also see the Uranus in the 6th house of work in the sign of Taurus (luxury, culture, Venus). Napoleon was and is a major figure in art and jewelry for how he prioritized the arts in his work. Not only that but this is further underscored by Uranus forming a sextile with Venus in the 8th house (transformation, spirit) in Cancer (home life, feeling). Venus is trine Jupiter on the Ascendant in Scorpio (similar to 8th house). That would amplify the energies just mentioned and it only reinforces that this is the chart of a genius who was very gifted in matters of culture.

Jupiter is sextile Pluto in Capricorn (Saturn, revolution) in the 2nd house (Taurus, Venus). Pluto is trine Uranus. The transformative warrior is a genius fighting for humanity.

The tough aspects are Jupiter opposite Uranus and Venus opposite Pluto. In opposites we’re dealing with polarities, opposites. It’s hard for these aspects to maintain perfect balance. Jupiter has a warlike flavor since it’s in Scorpio. Uranus though quirky and combustible has a peaceful flavor in Taurus. War and peace. Venus is soft and emotional and spiritual in Venus in the 8th house vs. Pluto in Capricorn which could represent a world shook by war. Napoleon was a man tormented by these paradoxical energies

Amazing.
