Yes with a bit of a sex addiction. People say he was a womanizer but he was really kind of a depressed guy with a highly passionate temperament with very pure ideals. Any terrible thing a person can pin on him came from his desire to do the greater good. He really did make mistakes but his situations were also impossible to navigate. He saw a Mack truck coming at humanity in the form of the English government, their debts and the type of people with whom they were making deals so they could really dominate the world. Napoleon was a 100 percent correct about this threat. He tried to stand in the way and he did fall in his efforts. My admiration for him stems from his courage and strength and yes, his purity.
He was an ascetic because he really did do everything he could to benefit humanity - to the point of marrying the reputedly unappealing daughter whom he had never met of his most unpleasant enemy, Emperor Franz of Austria. Napoleon’s life was one of duty and sacrifice. This is backed up all the way by these memoirs:

Napoleon married this guy’s inbred daughter, sight unseen. Don’t tell me Napoleon didn’t make every effort for peace.
