The natal astrology chart is a wheel where every one of the 12 signs takes up 30 degrees of the circle.
Where the planets land on that circle determines what angles the planets make with each other. Let’s learn more.

There are more aspects than those above but I’m going to start with just those for now.
The red lines show some square aspects. There are some additional square aspects behind my doodle. The red lines are difficult aspects and the blue lines are representing harmonious aspects.
The blue lines connoting harmonious aspects shown are the sextile (top) and trine (bottom). The green dotted lines are quincunx angles.
I have gone over the aspects in my chart many times. I have found the astroclick portrait (under free horoscopes) helpful on astro.com. I click on the aspects to get a sense how to decode this chart.

We need to look at the aspects as how the planets energies’ are blending. A site explaining different aspect configurations can be found here.
Aspect patterns that I see are the cardinal cross.
This is a tense collection of aspects between Saturn retrograde, Pluto, Venus and the Moon. This showdown is occurring in the cardinal (first initiation) signs. We also have the aspect pattern called the Yod.
This could represent Jupiter (expansion) and Neptune (spiritual depth) flowing their energy to bypass the block represented by Saturn (limitation/discipline). My sense is that I will be stuck until I can overcome the limitation imposed by Saturn who happens to be in Cancer (home) in my 3rd house (communications). I do have some shadowy group blocking my efforts at communicating with the public. I’ve learned that some secretive group mandates that only their self serving story can reach the public. That could be this reality showing up in my natal chart. Saturn and Pluto are moving together in a transit, astrologically speaking, in opposition to this natal Saturn.
I also see a partial grand sextile.
This partial grand sextile implies a harmonious flow of energy between the planets Jupiter (expansion, luck), Neptune (spiritual depth) and Pluto (death, rebirth, transformation). That could come across as someone with a big talent for interacting with spiritual mysteries. Perhaps this says I can go through multiple transformations. Throughout my life, I have been perfectly aware when I’ve gone through death/rebirth phases. I endured one in 2016 when I went deep into a new age cult. I entered that situation a bit gullible and overly compliant and came out a warrior.
I’m going through another one of these phases now. I think I’m being turned into a healer of some sort. I’m being taught through intuition about energy and how to wield it. This astrology exploration is part of that.
