Napoleon has been severely and unjustly maligned in a myriad of ways but I’ve never heard anyone ever say he wasn’t smart.
Maybe the powers that be miscalculated when they threw so much of their power and media influence towards attempting to turn the masses into self indulgent consumer nonbelievers?
Napoleon would not have done that.
